Enki Memory · for developers · Windows preview · free to start

Your agents remember everything. We remember nothing.

One memory, shared by every AI tool you use. Tell Claude Code something on Monday and Cursor knows it on Tuesday. It all lives on your computer, works offline, and never touches ours.

Why your AI forgets, and what happens when it shares one memory that stays on your PC.

One memory your agents share

# Monday, in Claude Code
you ▸ remember: the staging database is on port 5433, not 5432

# Tuesday, in Cursor
you ▸ which port is the staging database on?
agent ▸ 5433 (from your shared memory)

# Where that memory went
  ▸ your PC everything
  ▸ Enki Labs nothing

An illustrative example: one memory, two tools, no cloud in between.

Sovereign. Safe. Secure.

The three promises behind everything Enki Labs builds.

Sovereign. It's yours.

Your memories never leave your computer. A free install makes no network connections at all - we checked the built app, not just the code.

Safe. Never held hostage.

Cancel, lapse or uninstall: nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. Uninstalling removes the program and leaves your memories exactly where they are.

Secure. Sealed and fenced.

The engine is sealed and refuses to run if it has been tampered with. Exports only ever go to your own exports folder, so a web page can't trick your agent into copying your memories somewhere else. Pro's licence check sends a licence and a random number - never a memory.

What happens if you leave?

The real test of "own your own data" is what happens when you walk away. Here is the honest answer.

If you…What happens
Uninstall Enki MemoryThe program goes. Your memories stay in your user folder.
Cancel ProYou keep Pro to the end of the period you paid for, then go back to free. Nothing deleted, nothing locked - you just can't add facts beyond the free limit.
Want your data elsewhereAsk your agent to export. Every fact, as JSON plus readable Markdown, on any plan.
Never hear from us againIt keeps running - it needs nothing from us. A Pro licence that can no longer renew falls back to the free plan two weeks after it ends. Every memory stays.

We built it so you never need us. We think that's why you'll stay.

Install in a minute (Windows 11, 64-bit)

  1. Download EnkiMemory-Windows-*.zip from the release page and unzip it.
  2. Double-click Install Enki Memory.cmd. It finds your AI apps and asks before connecting each one.
  3. Restart your AI app. Enki Memory appears in its tools.

Windows 10 should work but is not tested yet. Windows may warn you the first time, because this preview is not code-signed yet. Signing is on its way.

When a fact changes, have your agent use update: a reworded fact doesn't always replace the old one on its own. discard hides a fact from recall and keeps an audit record.
